Obituary of Gregory L. Curley

Gregory L. (Bubs) Curley, age 58 of Dundee, passed away on Sunday , May 20, 2012 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor after becoming ill at his home. He was born in Dundee on April 7, 1954 the son of Henry J. (Hank) and Betty J. (Fish) Curley. He graduated from Dundee High School in 1972. He was a journeyman carpenter, had worked on the large oil rigs in Texas and was a Class A truck driver with Michigan Bulk Transit in Dundee. He loved spending time in northern Michigan; deer hunting; 4 wheeling and was an outdoors kind of guy. He is survived by his son Jason (Erin) Curley of Leonardtown, Maryland; grandchildren Donovan, Hannah and Spencer; brothers Michael Curley of Kalkaska County, Michigan, Mark (Elizabeth) Curley of Tecumseh, Daniel (Becca) Curley of Petersburg and special brother Pete Bonfiglio of Dundee. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may gather on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 5 – 8 P.M. at the Cover Funeral Home in Dundee (734-529-3156) In accordance with his wishes cremation has been held at Tri-County Crematory in Ypsilanti.
