Ed Kotus certainly made a good name. What a loving head he was. The entire Kotus Family I remember fondly. The ransom has been paid. Opening the way for eternal life in the soon to come paradise. Loving gratitude to our heavenly Father Jehovah.

We just wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. May the peace which comes from the memories of love you shared comfort you now and in the days ahead. Look forward to the time in Jehovah's promised new world when we will all be together again. We send our love and deepest sympathy.

Mrs. Kotus & Family: I think of your husband with a big smile, a big heart and plenty of time to snow plow our driveway. Thank you for being great neighbors and true examples of love and generosity. I wish you peace during this difficult time. Edna Irving (John & Evelyn's eldest daughter)

Eddie was the best neighbor a family could have! That goes for his entire family, The Kotus family on Southwick road are one of a kind and my parents John and Evelyn Schmenk always had a kind word to say about them. I appreciate Eddie taking care of plowing my father's driveway in the winter and garden in the summer. We will miss seeing him on his tractor tending to his farmland!
I am glad I was home this past summer when he stopped by to visit and shared a pulled pork sandwich which he really enjoyed and told my sister who prepared it she should open a restaurant! My younger brother, Tom, recalls Eddie including him with his son, David, at tractor pulls and other events. What a kind heart he had. We will cherish the memories. With love, Gale Dettling (Schmenk)

I am so sorry. Please extend my sympathy to all the Kotus family. I am a nurse at St.Joes hospital in Ann Arbor and work with Connie on 4 North. My life has not been the same since my mother died 3 years ago. Just today I thought how much easier lifes trials had been because they were shared with my mother. That being said I am stronger now because I have had to rely on my faith more.
