Obituary of Lydia Rohrbach
Lydia E. Rohrbach, age 82 of Dundee, passed away at 5:55 A.M., Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Monroe. She was born in Hardin County, Kentucky on May 20, 1928. Her parents were Curtis Lee Hardin and Mattie Roberts. She married Wesley C. Rohrbach November 17, 1945 at LaGrange, Kentucky. He passed away November 17, 1987. Lydia enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved working crossword puzzles, doing embroidery, reading, and listening to music. Her survivors include two sons: Wesley (Lynda) Rohrbach of Onsted, Michigan, Thomas (Tina) Rohrbach of Dundee; three daughters Sharon (Robert) Schomberger of Sand Lake, Michigan, Sandra (Kenneth) Hopson of Dundee, and Peggy (Thomas) Grodi of Temperance; grandchildren Troy Rohrbach, Shelley Dechert, John C. Keenan, Jeffery Keenan, Brent E. Hopson, Melissa Heineman, Barbara Gorno, Rebecca Rohrbach, Matthew Grodi, Brad Grodi and Brooke Grodi; also thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley and a son David Lawrence Rohrbach and also brothers and sisters. Friends may call on Friday from 4 – 8 P.M. at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156) Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 A.M., November 20, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Douglas Olsen officiating. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery in Dundee.
