Obituary of Neva A. Thomas
Neva A. Thomas, age 59, of Monroe, passed away at her home on Sunday. October 25, 2015 surrounded by her family after a long illness. Neva was born in Detroit, Michigan January 9, 1956 the daughter of Lloyd Eugene Tummins and Shirley Arlene Hudson. Her father died when she was very young. Stephen Boedner then became her father figure. Her career was as a bookkeeper. She worked for Peerless Gear in Clinton and Pfizer in Ann Arbor. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, her dogs and especially motorcycles. She is survived by her lifelong partner, Kenneth Tennyson (The Rebel) of Monroe, her son Stephen Lee (Carrie) Thomas; sisters Rina Tummins and Tina (Gerald ) Burke; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and Stephen Boedner. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 – 8 PM at Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Du7ndee (734-529-31560 Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday October 28, 2015 at the funeral home.
