Larry: We send our sympathy and heartfelt condolences! Both of you have always been steadfast supporters of so many wonderful organizations in Monroe County...including, of course, MCCC and The Foundation at MCCC. At every event, we could always count on you and Florence to be excellent, smiling ambassadors for the college and Monroe County in general. We loved hearing stories of your cruising and travel adventures. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Bill Braunlich (MCCC Trustee) and Mike Meyer (Chair, The Foundation at Monroe County Community College)

Larry and family,
Please accept my condolences on Florence's passing. I am so sorry for you loss and will always have fond memories of the wonderful post-graduation parties that you two hosted after MCCC graduations in the past. The many trips and activities you shared together must bring you comfort that you both were able to live a full and productive life. Please know you are in thoughts and prayers of us MCCC old-timers.

My sincerest sympathy goes out to you Larry. Florence was such a great Teacher and she helped me so much with my Genealogy journey. I am so proud to have known her and call her my friend. I will always remember her enthusiasm and dedication to both Curves and Genealogy and the special interest she took in my daughter. She will be sadly missed by so many.

So sad to see you go Aunt Florence. Some of my fondest memories as a kid were when my brother and I would come and stay with you and Uncle Larry. Counting all the owl decorations in your house, using your Sears & JC Penny Christmas catalogs to make Christmas lists full of toys we never got (only when I was adult did I realize the listing was to occupy my brother Jon and me), having several generations of cats named Mort and your VW Beatles were my favorite Aunt Florence things. Please take your kind heart and sense of humor with you to heaven so they can enjoy what we did down here. Bye, we love you!

My Aunt Florence was, and I believe still is, a special lady. As small children, she would always spoil my brother(Scot) and I whenever we saw her. She made childhood Christmases unforgettable. She made the BEST peanut butter brownies in the world and always made sure she had a couple cartons full of them whenever I saw her because she new I enjoyed them. My heart goes out to my awesome Uncle Larry. You both have been such a wonderful influence in my life. Families can be together forever. I am so glad that you both are part of mine!
