Obituary of Carolyn Moore

Carolyn Marie Moore January 7, 1970 - January 26, 2011 Carolyn Marie Moore was born in Monroe, Michigan on January 7, 1970. She was the daughter of the late Larry Allen Moore and Carol LouAnn (McCarthy) Moore. She attended Monroe Schools. Carolyn was lively and energetic. She was a pleasure to be around although she hid her true emotions. Carolyn was always on the go. Carolyn was a homemaker and she was extremely proud of her five children and loved them each individually. She was known for being a very giving individual. Carolyn loved to cook and complete crafts. She was always surprising her friends and family with the most random meals and they were always a hit. Carolyn Marie Moore age 41 of Monroe passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, January 26, 2011 in the Emergency Department of Mercy Memorial Hospital. Her passing was preceded by a son: Brandon; her father: Larry; her paternal grandparents: Charles and Edith Moore and maternal grandparents: Steven and Irene McCarthy. She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters: Crystal Moore of Monroe, Jessica Rice of Monroe, DeLisa Rice of Monroe, and Amber Rice of Monroe; a son: Charles Moore; her beloved mother: Carol Moore of Monroe; two sisters: Tammy (Raynard) Thomas and Kimberly Moore; and a brother: Larry Moore; five grandchildren: Nilleia, Alexis, Caydence, Brendon, and Brandon. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 7:00pm with the Rev. David Voss pastor of Petersburg Lower Light Church officiating.
