Rose Marie (Nolff) Taylor
January 18, 1940 - January 28, 2011
Rose Marie Nolff was born in Monroe, Michigan on January 18, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Orville Nolff and the late Florence Irene (Beach) Nolff. Rose married the love of her life Norman Carl Taylor when she was only 16.
From their union came the birth of four children: Denise, Brenda, Linda, and Brian. Rose enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. Even while raising four children Rose made time to work outside the home for K-Mart and also for Fermi II Nuclear Power Plant. She performed clerical work for many years. After Norman's retirement the couple moved to Barryton, Michigan. They shared a passion for each other throughout forty wonderful years of marriage. Norman was her number one man until his passing on May 1, 1996.
Rose was an avid NASCAR fan and especially of Dale Earnhart. She loved her grandchildren so much and they adored her as well warmly referring to her as ME-ME. She was a jokester at heart, happy go lucky one could say, but don't mistake that for weakness she wasn't afraid to voice her opinion.
Rose Marie Tayor age 71 of Monroe passed away at 10:45am, Friday, January 28, 2011 at her home. In addition to her parents and husband her passing was preceded by a sister: Diana Bower, and two brothers: Edward and Donald Nolff.
She leaves to cherish her memory three Daughters: Denise Taylor of Monroe, Brenda (Randy) Nutt of Monroe, Linda Sharp of Lansing, one son: Brian (Amy) Taylor of Newport; one brother: Robert Nolff of Bellview, MI; and one sister: Patricia (James) Kenny of Lansing; nine grandchildren: Rick Taylor, Shannon Roberts, Tiffiny Burrell, Bud (Nicole) Nutt, Stacey Taylor, Jeremy Sharp, Jessica Taylor, Syndi Taylor, and Hannah Taylor; five great grandchildren: Kylie, Jacob, Izabella, Allison, and Haydn.
