Obituary of Roseann Bonner

Roseann Marie Bonner April 2, 1956 - December 15, 2010 Roseann Marie Anteau was born in Monroe, Michigan on April 2, 1956. She was the daughter of the late Wilbert Anteau and the late Laura (Morell) Anteau. She married the love of her life LeRoy Bonner in Adrian, Michigan on September 23, 1989. For more than thirty-seven years, Roseann worked as a Longterm Care Nurse's Aide. She had been employed the past seventeen years by Fountainview of Monroe; formerly Maplewood Manor and Frenchtown Nursing. Roseann was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Her children adored her and recognized that she was a Caretaker in every sense of the word. Her heart of gold prevented her from ever letting her family down. Even when Roseann herself was stricken with illness she found it more essential and fulfilling to care for others than herself. Roseann Marie Bonner age 54 of Monroe passed away at Mercy Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. She had been in declining health and her loving family was at her side. In addition to her parents: Wilbert and Laura Anteau her passing was preceded by four siblings: John Wayne Anteau, Ralph Anteau and infant twin brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory a beloved husband of 21 years: LeRoy Bonner of Monroe; three children: Shawn (Tammy) Otinger of Toledo, Ohio, Lee Bonner, Charles Bonner; three siblings: Carol (Harold) West of Monroe, James (Mary) Anteau, Barb (Jeff ) O'Neil; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm, Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 11:00am, Monday, December 20, 2010 at Merkle Funeral Service with the Rev. Tom Zimmerman pastor of Lambertville United Methodist Church officiating. Procession will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery for her final rest. Memorial donations are suggested to the Bonner Family.
