Kimberly Jean Reaume
April 10, 1983 - September 10, 2010
Kimberly Jean Reaume was born in Monroe, Michigan on April 10, 1983. She was one of four daughters born from the union of Bryan and Jeanne (Masserant) Reaume. She attended St. Charles Grade School and graduated in 2001 from St. Mary Catholic Central. She was working towards her Masters Degree in Business Administration and was within one credit of obtaining her goal.
Kimberly had a gift for creating floral arrangements and had worked alongside her friend, Jane Woodbury of Floral Expressions for many years. She also enjoyed making beautiful, handcrafted greeting cards. Even though, Kimberly, daily faced many health challenges for years, she was brave and endured much. She was a fighter and an inspiration to those whose lives she touched.
She had been employed in the Monroe County Community College Financial Aid office, and enjoyed the opportunity to help others. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. A lover of animals, but especially cats and penguins, she was kind, thoughtful, and a very giving person.
Kimberly age 27 of Carleton passed away unexpectedly at 11:15pm, Friday, September 10, 2010 at her home. Her passing was preceded by her grandfather: Carl Masserant on June 20, 2008 and her uncle: Michael Reaume on August 27, 2010.
To cherish her memory she leaves her parents: Bryan and Jeanne Reaume of Carleton; sisters: Connie (Ryan) Lingar of Monroe, Tracy (Dan) Goodroe of Sterling, Michigan, and Tina (Jeremy Kuehnlein) Reaume of Monroe; paternal grandparents: Robert and Madeline Reaume of Carleton; maternal grandmother: Ann Masserant of Monroe; nephews: Bryan, Ethan, and Nolan Lingar; niece: Ann Goodroe; several aunts and uncles: Clare (Ron) LaBeau, Wayne Masserant, Margaret (Jim) Babcock, Betsy (Bruce) Bender, Tim (Connie) Masserant, and Lana (Herb) Langton; and many cousins.
Friends may gather from 12:00-9:00pm, Monday, September 13, 2010 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe (734) 384-5185 with a Rosary led by Sister Pam Nosbusch OSF at 7:30pm. She will lie in state from 11:00am until the Mass of the Resurrection at 12:00pm, Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 8109 Swan Creek; Father Bill Tindall officiating. Procession will follow to the church cemetery for burial.
