Patricia A Gessler passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at Ebeid Hospice Residence. She was born on July 18, 1936 to the late Eleanor Miller and Austin Cousino. Pat work as a Telephone Operator in Erie MI and later worked at Lehmann's Greenhouse. Pat was a member of the Ladies Axillary Post at Erie VFW Post 3925.
Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved doing Christmas in July with her grandchildren and looked forward to it every year. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and going the Garage Sales. Pat was the life of every party she attended and brought her special "clothes" for each event. Her specialty was in Mock Weddings and Halloween. She brought laughter to so many people.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Emil O Gessler and her 4 children, Mike (Kathy) Gessler, Michelle (Arnie) Buehler, Mary (Bill) Seth, Emil (Stacie) Gessler. She is also survived by her Grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Gessler, Arnie (Melody) Buehler, Mark (Hannah) Buehler, Jimmy (Kelsey) Buehler, Megan and John Buehler, Paytra and Sohpie Gessler, Oscar and Julian Sanchez, Jodi, Matt, Dan and Rachel Seth. She also has five great grandchildren. Pat is preceded in death by her brother Henry Cousino and her Great Granddaughter, Ezri Chais Buehler.
Friends may gather from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, March 18, 2016, at Merkle Funeral Service, Erie, 9156 Summit, Erie, Michigan (734) 848-5185 and on Saturday from 10:00am to 11:00am. There will be a Ladies Auxillary VFW Post 3925 walk through at 7:00pm A Celebration of Her Life will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00am, also at Merkle's with a luncheon to follow at the Erie VFW.
