Obituary of Antonio Gomez

Antonio Gomez was born June 12, 1985 in Fremont, Ohio. He was one of three children born to Lydia (Gomez) Sharp. Antonio attended Monroe Public Schools. Antonio was a hard worker and he loved his work. He loved working in the construction business. When he wasn't working, Antonio enjoyed listening to music and hanging out with his friends. Antonio enjoyed time spent with his family, but above all being a father. Any given day, he could be caught running at the park with his children, wrestling, and playing ball. Antonio was a walking calculator, his gift of math skills were always found to be helpful to his siblings growing up. He was a flashy well-dressed man, with a love for clothing over other tangible items. As a young man, he spent hours reading the bible on a daily basis Antonio Miguel-Josephi Gomez, age 30, of Monroe passed away at home unexpectedly at 9:15am on Saturday, March 5, 2016. His passing was preceded by his grandfather: Ernesto Gomez and an aunt Dinah Gomez. To cherish his memory, Antonio leaves his three children: Kaiden Prickard, Antonio Gomez Jr, and Alexavier Gomez all of Newport; mother of his children: Nikki Gomez;his mother: Lydia (Brian) Sharp of Adrian; his father figure: Frank "Pops" Ticknor; his grandmother: Elena Gomez; two sisters: Tiffany Whipple of Luna Pier and Jennifer Whipple of North Carolina; and many friends.
