I will never forget my experience with Nancy, Patrick and my daughter Katherine on an overnight ghost hunting event at the Reformatory in Mansfield OH. Nancy was so adventurous and determined in her quest for scientific evidence of spirit communication. That August night in 2014, the air was heavy, particularly in the upper levels of those prison cells adding a feeling of oppression. Despite the fact we had a tour of the facility earlier in the evening with lights on, when the lights went out around 10:00 pm it was particulary spooky and disorienting. That didn't stop Nancy! She had her digital recorder and camera in hand! Off we went, roaming that institution up and down in the dark until around 2:30 am. What an adventure! We had many experiences that we could not readily explain. I was so happy to share this experience with Nancy. I had just recently learned that she and I shared an interest in the supernatural. Nancy, I hope you are at peace on that other side. Visit me in my dreams. I miss you!
Love, Diane

I remember when I turned 17 and you took me to New York for the first time. We rented a helicopter and it flew us around the Staue of Liberty. We ate at a fancy steak house that has white linen tablecothes. Not to mention the wonderful Broadway show, The Lion King.
You were so proud I finished highschool and was starting my next journey to college. I remember on the plane when we were nearing New York and we could see the city out the window you leaned over and whispered in my ear the song" New York, New York".
I love you mom, New York will always remind me of you!
Love,
Manda Panda

Pat, So sorry to hear of your sister's passing. As I was reading the obituary in the paper, I realize that she and I and my husband had so much in common. We also have a love for automobiles and especially Ford Motor Co. as Harold worked there for 38 years. The other thing is that we never miss a Detroit Tiger game. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Sincerely, Carol

Back in November 2013 when we visited the Libbey Glass Outlet in Toledo, I remarked I really liked these plates they had on sale but for some reason we didn't buy any at the time. I thought about them for awhile and the next time I was in Toledo I stopped and bought a set of eight. You listened real closely to what I wanted and sure enough, you snuck back down to Toledo, too, and bought me a set of eight plates in all the sizes available. On Christmas Eve when we went over to my house to open presents, I remarked that the present you got me was real heavy. As I opened it, it started clinking, like plates shiftng in the box. Yep, they did. You bought me what I bought me. We both laughed. I still use those plates and always will. Thanks, Nance, Thanks for teaching me to like cats, too, although they showed up in the darnedest places. Rest in peace and thanks for the things we did together although you never could talk me into ghost hunting. Bobb

Please accept my sincerest condolences. I was Nancy's supervisor at Ford for the last 5 years. Nancy was a great worker. I could always count on her to go the extra mile. Nancy got along with everyone in the company including the suppliers. She was great at what she was doing and it showed in the quality of launch on all her programs. Nancy was one of our key DQ Engineers when we launched the all new 2013 Fusion/MKz in Mexico and I think I must have asked her to go to various places in Mexico at least 15 times in a 6 month period. Nancy always agreed to go. Sometimes Nancy gave me some grief about others not pulling their weight and thus burdening our group with extra work - but that was Nancy - always direct and to the point. I will miss her.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Nancy's family. I went to Ida school, and was three years younger than Nancy. She rode our school bus. She was very nice and very shy. Her classmates will miss her, and I will miss her. Everyone loved Nancy, and she will be greatly missed. I hadn't seen her since high school, and I was happy to reconnect with her on facebook. I discovered she was a cancer survivor as well. I didn't know she was battling cancer again.Rest in Peace Nancy, I will miss your pics and posts on facebook. You had a beautiful smile that we will always remember when we think of you.
