Obituary of Edward Kroeger
Please share a memory of Edward to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Edward Lee Kroeger was born in Monroe on September 27, 1944. He was one of two children born from the union of the late Raymond Casper and Helen Rose (Brecker) Kroeger.
On September 29, 1962, Edward married the love of his life, the former, Betty Hensley, in Monroe. From this union would come the birth of two children. Edward truly enjoyed his work with Ford Motor Company at the Woodhaven stamping plant, supporting his family for thirty-eight years, finally retiring in 2006 as an inspector.
Edward enjoyed his quality family time more than anything. He loved to take trips with his family, especially fishing trips with his grandchildren. He made it a point to spend time with his retired friends weekly on Wednesdays, over a meal. Edward spent many hours' playing cards and telling childhood stories. He also enjoyed watching old shows on television, and the occasional trip to the area casinos.
Edward Lee Kroeger, age 71 of Monroe, passed away at 6:26am on Friday, January 22, 2016 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. In addition to his parents, his passing was preceded by his brother, Jack Raymond Kroeger.
