Obituary of Georgia Sizemore
Please share a memory of Georgia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Georgia Lucille Woolum was born in Monroe on June 29, 1941 from the union of the late Edgar Woolum and the late Julia Mae (Bitler) Woolum.
Georgia married the love of her life, Donald Sizemore on October 27, 1964 in Toledo. For more than seventeen years she worked in long-term care first as a Nurse's Aide at Frenchtown Convalescent Center, and then as a Housekeeper for Medilodge retiring in 2003.
Georgia more than anything was the devoted matriarch of the family. Most of the time she was happy-go-lucky and generous, but when she was passionate about something she could be quite headstrong. Georgia was an excellent cook and had many mouth-watering delicatessens including: chili, hush puppies, biscuits and gravy, fish, and Italian Dishes like spaghetti. She loved to spend time with the grandchildren and always looked forward to Summer gatherings at Dawn's home and family holiday bashes. Georgia had a heart of gold, and when parting ways with her family made sure she walked them right to their car.
In her free time, Georgia loved to play bingo and always kept up on her daily soap operas.
