Obituary of Carole Hale

Please share a memory of Carole to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Carole Lynn Surbrook was born in Wayne County, Michigan on March 5, 1942. She was the only daughter of three children born from the union of the late Clifford Surbrook and the late Crystal (Miles) Surbrook. Carole attended Wyandotte Roosevelt High School before receiving her GED from Trenton High School. Carole married, Richard A. Hale on October 15, 1960. From this union the couple would be blessed with the birth of a son. Carole was a wonderful woman with a kind heart. She enjoyed the simple things in life, and as a homemaker she tirelessly tended to the needs of her family. For many years the couple enjoyed their Northern Michigan retreat on Hubbard Lake. After moving to the shores of Lake Erie twenty-five years ago, Carole found solace watching the water and fishing from her back yard. She could often be found reminiscing through old photos or watching her favorite show, Wheel of Fortune. Carole Lynn Hale, age 73, of Newport passed away at 9:15am on Friday, January 15, 2016 at her home under the care of Grace Hospice of Ann Arbor.
