Brant provided for his family by working as a Security Guard at Fermi II Nuclear Power Plant for sixteen years. He served a year and a half as a Volunteer Fireman for Luna Pier Fire Department. For the past five years, Brant was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop #561. He was a great outdoorsman enjoying camping, bonfires, family hunting trips and hiking. Had a passion for Wolves. Zip lining and climbing rock walls were activities shared proudly with his wife and kids. Brant was an amazing husband, father and brother, generally loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was always there for his family, enjoying the time shared playing with their children. He was consistently available to help friends and neighbors. He was a proud veteran who showed great respect for his fellow veterans. Brant Gerard, age 44 of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at home.
