Obituary of Charles Gardner

Charles K. Gardner, age 58, of Luna Pier, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2015 after suffering from a lengthy illness. Char loved playing his guitar, and wood carving. He was often seen riding his bike with a guitar on his back ready to play, and those who knew him knew he was also carrying a block of wood and small knife to chisel away at the creation he had in mind. To cherish his memory, Charles leaves his parents: Patricia and Charles E. Gardner; sister: Belinda (Howard) Krell; brothers: Jim (Amy), Dan (Jill), and Bill Gardner; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends wishing to say goodbye and jam to his memory are invited to attend a gathering from 5:00pm to 7:30pm on Friday, November 6, 2015 at the Luna Pier Water Tower Park pavilion. A memorial service will follow at 7:30pm with Rev. Rupert Loyd Jr, of Mayfair-Plymouth Congressional Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Arbor Hospice.
