Obituary of Kenneth Drewior

Kenneth Joseph Drewior, Jr. June 4, 1966 - October 22, 2015 Kenneth Joseph Drewior Jr. was born in Monroe on June 4, 1966. He was the son of Kenneth J. Drewior Sr. and the late Juliann (Lukich) Beaudrie. Kenneth attended Monroe High School graduating with the Class of 1984, and later completed courses at Lake County Community College in Illinois. Kenneth married the love of his life, Heather Lynn Gallagher on April 24, 1999 at Living Waters Church in Antioch, Illinois. Family was most important to Kenneth, and he was privileged with the birth of three children. Kenneth often referred to himself as blessed. His love for life was clear as he often commented that he was "always running out of daylight". Ken was a hardworking man. He provided for his family the past three years on the assembly line at Ford Motor Company, Wayne Assembly Plant. He was a member of Local 900. He was a master with his hands using carpentry to build and maintain his homes. He also showed his softer side, planting beautiful flowers and landscapes. Kenneth was generous with his time and always willing to help others in need. He had a great sense of humor, and this allowed him the innate ability to make everyone laugh, even though he also had the ability to "tell it how it was". Kenneth loved his Harley, taking every opportunity to ride, and he rode everywhere. Kenneth, age 49, of South Rockwood, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. In addition to his mother, his passing was preceded by his paternal grandparents: Yeager and Grace Drewior; his maternal grandparents: Iona and Andrew Geddis and George Lockich; and two half-sisters: Heather Rae Drewior and Jennifer Drewior. To cherish his memory, Kenneth leaves his wife of sixteen years: Heather; three children: Elizabeth M. Drewior, Grace I. Drewior and Kenneth J. Drewior III; father: Kenneth Sr. all of South Rockwood; a sister: Aimee (Frank) Parth; two aunts: Maryann Cline of Monroe, and Janice Rayle of Ohio; and two uncles: Donald (Grace) Drewior of Monroe, and John (Denise) Drewior of Petersburg; three nieces; and one nephew.
