I was so sorry for the whole family when I heard this news. Bob was gentle and generous. He was well loved. He did so much for his family by offering a place to live when they had struggles. He is now living in his Father's House. I pray Bob rest peacefully in the company of his Lord. Maybe they can be closer fishing buddies than ever! With this note I am sending prayers for comfort and healing, and love for all those left behind to finish their work on earth. Lonn Dugan

Bob had the purest heart and soul.... he left us way too soon. He and I used to joke that we had to both live to be 100 years old so that we could laugh at how old we each were. We were born exactly eight months apart; when I talked to him last Monday, I laughingly joked and told him that on Sunday he would be "old" while I should still be "young". A couple of years ago, I called him at 7:AM so that I could be the first to say, "Happy birthday" to him only to discover that he had already talked to his mom and that he was planning to head there for breakfast! (big smile) We learned to grow up together and I wish we had the time to learn to grow old together. Some souls are too pure to be left on Earth.... I should have known that he would be one of them. I'm sure that if Heaven has fishing holes, he is teaching Kay Lynn all about fishing. He will forever be my good friend.... and now he is our angel. Family, Huey, Fishing, sports, Christmas, Holidays and weather..... these are a few of his favorite things... Bob had a wonderful life, a full life... but much shorter than the rest of us would have chosen for him. Bless you all ~ he loved you so much!

I met Bob at the Sterns Rd Truck Stop serveral years ago. I, with my friend Linda enjoyed his company and listenig to his stories. I would see him occasionally and we would catch up. It would be as if no time had passed. We are so sorry for your loss. I bet he is fishing in heaven. Gone much to soon. May he rest in peace.
