Obituary of Christian Stone

Christian Andrew Stone Sr. was born in Canton, Ohio on February 19, 1985. He was the son of Carla Stone and Vincent Rossetti. Christian attended Orchard Center High School earning his GED. He married the love of his life the former Sarah Elizabeth Maedel on April 8, 2011, being together for thirteen years. From this union would come the birth of two children. For the past two years, Christian had been employed by Huron Valley Steel performing construction work. Christian was a genuine, loving, and devoted person. He had a huge heart and strived to help as many people as possible. He often seemed to spearhead or chair charity events, although he never looked for the limelight. Christian loved children as well. He often served as the neighborhood daycare provider. But more than anything Christian looked to be an exceptional father. His family time meant the world to him, Christian enjoyed talking homemade recipes with his baby girl: Madison, and backyard barbeques were favorite pastimes. Christian also had a special place in heart for animals, but none more than dogs. Christian loved music. He was a talented guitarist; enjoyed playing music with his little man: Tian, and loved jamming to his favorite band Kiss. Christian Andrew Stone Sr., age 29 of Monroe passed away at unexpectedly on Saturday morning December 20, 2014 at his home. His passing was preceded by his paternal grandfather: Richard Rossetti. To cherish his memory, Christian leaves his loving wife: Sarah Stone of Monroe; a son: Christian Andrew Stone II and a daughter: Madison Stone both of Monroe; "the moms": Carla Stone Rossetti (Michelle Bartlett) of Monroe; his father: Vincent Rossetti of Canton, Ohio; two sisters: Nina Stone (Brent Revard) and Jennifer Smoot both of Monroe; one brother: Anthony Smoot of Monroe; maternal grandparents: Freddy (Linda) Stone of Canton, Ohio; paternal grandmother: Mary Rossetti of Canton, Ohio; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, December, 26, 2014 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of His Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 27, 2014 also at Merkle's with Reverend Tim Iocoangeli of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Michigan Memorial Park.
