I can’t remember a time I didn’t know him. We first met him when my brother Bryan and I visited our grandmother on Walnut Street, and he hung around until adulthood. He was my brother’s best friend, so I had two big brothers. We joined the Navy at the same time and spent some time exploring Chicago together and drive home from Great Lakers to Monroe a few times to visit.

Was an all through school childhood friend. We lost contact after school, he joined the Navy me the Army and didn’t see each other again for awhile. Then I found out he lived at Detroit Beach as do I. Then this summer he bought my Harley, so we started talking occasionally. Anyway he was a good “ole” soul and I hated to hear about his passing, I’m sure he’ll be greatly missed.

In shock is all I can say...I lost a dear co-worker and most of all friend. May the Good Lord rest your soul Fritz; heaven is a better place with you there now; and joining your beloved wife, Deb.
