My deepest condolences, sympathy & prayers to both the Nadeau & Omler families! I have been thinking & praying for all of you. Bev & I were best friends from kindergarten through high school, and still keep in contact especially since she's moved back to Monroe. When we were young if I wasn’t at her house she was at mine! We gave both her parents & mine a run for their money!! We were always up to something. .I got to know her whole family quiet well. We didn’t see Sonny much he was already out of the house and married, although I do remember going to his house a few times, we used to babysit for Judy so she could go out on dates, I knew Darlene from school mostly (she was out with John most of the time), and Margie if not out with Jim was trying to keep an eye on us! She was so funny & reminded me so much of Bev. When Bev’s parents moved up to Houghton Lake (I think it was to get a break from us, lol) we went to visit them a few times. They could run but they couldn’t hide. After high school, I was renting a house across the street from Darlene, John & kids. They gave me a nice house warming when their big horse of a dog gave my much smaller German shepherd a litter of puppies! We have a lot of good memories!! Bev kept me updated on Margie’s struggles with her illness which she didn’t deserve. She was always such a sweetheart and would have done anything for anyone. And she had the best sense of humor, whenever she was there she had us in tears!! I will think of her often. My thoughts and prayers are with you all & hope your memories help you through! I will miss my aunt marg she never forgot my birthday, she brung me box of turtles in 73' when i had tonsils out and been hooked on em ever since. she made the best rice crispy treats omg i ate so many of them in the 70s..and her pineapple sheet cakes best ive ever had and we always had great times at the cabin with freddie and my grandma monie. She will always be in my memories.

Dear Family of Marjorie,
Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of this dear, dear lady. I met Marjorie when she arrived at the IHM center. My volunteer role was to give the Holy Eucharist to Sisters and Residents on the second floor. Each Sunday, around 10:45am, I would pop into Marjorie’s room and whisper “Good morning”; she immediately knew who was there. We always exchanged a few words and her cheerfulness and kindness overwhelmed me. It was a true joy to know Marjorie in this way. Most recently, I was away for most of March and April and visited Marjorie last Sunday, May 14. I was saddened to see that her challenges were winning the battle. While communion was not possible I stayed with her for a few minutes and, to the best of my ability as a layperson, I prayed by her side, thanked her for inspiring me for so many Sunday’s, and wished her a joyful ascension into heaven. God bless her and your family.

My condolences to the Omler family...it was my privilege to get to know Margie as well as the family while she was at IHM. Taking many trips to Ann Arbor together gave us plenty of time to chat! What always impressed me was that the family really worked well as a team to support Margie while at IHM. It seemed I saw at least one family member daily just to visit and there was ALWAYS someone there as a companion on those medical trips to Ann Arbor whether it was 6:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. In spite of the health issues Margie was facing, she always had a positive attitude and she always took the time to ask how I was doing. I know she will be missed at IHM. My prayer to you all for comfort and peace in a most difficult time.
