My name is Sharon King. I live part time in the Bent Tree neighborhood. On a hunch I asked Myrtle if she had a sewing machine & whether she could mend some aprons for me. I offered to pay her but she responded “that’s just what neighbors do.” She proceeded to give me a hug & some magazines to take home too. I felt so “at home” talking with Myrtle. She reminded me not to take things for granted. I’m so thankful to have met her.
