Mary Jane Carr was born on August 17, 1953 in Carleton, Michigan. She was one of six children born from the union of her parents: the late Robert Carr and the late Paulette (Jennings) Carr. Mary received her education from Monroe High School.
Mary met and married the love of her life: Lyn Lymond in May 16, 1996. She was employed with Kroger for 17 years and worked as a customer service manager where she made many work friends.
Mary had a very loving personality and enjoyed time spent reading books and watching some of her favorite television shows including: NCIS and all the home improvement shows. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to garage sales to find the best bargains. She was a natural animal lover and enjoyed time spent with her two dogs: Lady and Buddy.
Above anything, Mary loved spending time with her family. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. To know Mary, was to love her and she will be deeply missed by many.
Mary J. Lymond, age 65, of Monroe, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital. Her passing is preceded by her son: Jason Friar and her parents.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her husband of 22 years: Lyn Lymond; her son: James Friar; her sisters: Sandy Gilderson and Connie Guy; her brothers: Larry Carr, Kevin Carr and Donny Carr; and her grandchildren: Jayden, Jordan, Miracle and James Jr. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734)384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 6:00pm also at Merkle’s with Pastor David Befedich officiating.
