Obituary of Sharon Marlene Wrege

Sharon Marlene Pryor was born on December 8, 1948 in Corning, Ohio. She was the oldest of five children born from the union of the late Keith Valentine Pryor and the late Betty Lou (Danielson) Pryor. She received her education by attending Bedford High School.

Sharon met and married the love of her life, Myrlin Wrege on April 22, 1972. It was from this union that came the birth of their five beautiful children. Sharon worked hard to support her family as a stay at home mom. She always made sure her children were well cared for.

In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, tending to her garden and house plants, and canning vegetables grown annually. In her spare time, Sharon would catch up on her favorite shows, Judge Judy and Dark Shadows to watch Barnabas. She loved to listen to music and dance to her favorite classic tunes.  

Sharon had a shy and quiet personality but was very protective of those she loved. She was a great mom and always put her family before anyone else, including herself. Even after suffering from declining health, she continued her strong character and never let any weakness show. Sharon never wanted her family to worry and kept her health private. She had a very close bond with her grandson, Brian, but was dear to her entire family and all who knew her. She was loved by all and will be missed by many.

Sharon Marlene Wrege, age 69 of Monroe, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio surrounded by her family. Her passing is preceded by her husband: Myrlin Wrege Sr.; her son: Norman Richard Greiner, Jr., three grandchildren and her parents.

To cherish her memory, she leaves her children: Keitha Greiner, Jeanie Greiner, Myrlin (Christine) Wrege Jr., and Brenda (Sunimal) Wrege-Alles; her siblings: Nita Pryor-Lucke, Jerry Pryor, Debby Moss and David Pryor; seventeen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
