Obituary of Todd George Wurster

Todd George Wurster was born December 31, 1974 in Monroe, Michigan. He was one of six children born from the union of the late Phillip Samuel Wurster and the late Barbara Ann (Vladu) Wurster.

Todd has been with the love of his life, Nicole Lanier for 27 years. From their union came the birth of five beautiful children. Todd was a hard worker and has worked various jobs to support his family, including starting his own business: We Care Disposal.

Family was most important to Todd.  His pride and joy were his children and granddaughter Alexiah. He enjoyed every minute he was able to spend with them and would do anything for them.

Todd was an outdoors man; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and doing the yardwork. He enjoyed the fresh air and being a part of nature. When he was younger, he always stayed active by playing many sports. Todd was always visiting the tattoo parlor. He had a love for dogs, especially pit bulls and has had many throughout his life. One thing Todd enjoyed doing was eating. He loved food and always enjoyed a nice meal. He had a passion for biking, whether it be a pedal bicycle, a dirt bike or motorcycles. To unwind he enjoyed listening to his music, especially Kid Rock.

Todd George Wurster, age 42, of Monroe, Michigan passed away on November 5, 2017 at his home. His death is preceded by his father in 1977, his mother in 2001 and his close friend and brother in law Ted Hochradel in 2007.

To cherish his memory, he leaves behind his fiancé and best friend: Nicole Lanier, his children: Christen, Arika, Ryleigh, Tabitha and Tyler Wurster; his granddaughter: Alexiah Barlow; his sister Shelly Wurster Hochradel; his brothers: Terry, Ricky, Phillip and Tad Wurster; his nephews: Greg Hochradel, Jordan McBee and Tadan Wurster; his nieces: Logan and Ryan Wurster; close family members Shana and Jeremiah, close friend: Jacob; and many extended family members and friends.

Friends may gather from 2:00pm – 8:00pm on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734)384-5185 and on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 3:00pm until A Celebration of His Life at 4:00 pm also at Merkle’s with Pastor BJ McDaniel officiating. In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation will take place following the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
