Obituary of Keith Douglas Russeau

Keith Douglas Russeau was born on March 15, 1951 in Monroe, Michigan. He is one of six children born from the union of Radis and Kathryn (Kiley) Russeau. Keith attended Monroe High School, graduating with the Class of 1969.

Keith married the love of his life, the former Barbara Roush on August 7, 1998 in Toledo, Ohio. From this union, came a blended family of ten children. He worked hard to provide for his family as a painter for Davidson Building for over twenty years. Keith contributed to building many of the local businesses in the Monroe and surrounding communities. He also owned his own painting and wallpaper business for many years.

Keith loved his family dearly and would do anything for them. He was a very generous man and would never ask for anything in return. Keith never judged and always had an open heart to those around him. He enjoyed spending time up north with his family. Keith could fix just about anything he set his mind to and was always first to offer help on projects. He was always smiling and joking; making you laugh and turning your bad day into a better one. He was known to give the best bear hugs ever.

You could always find Keith somewhere running around Monroe in his Sherwin Williams t-shirt, Wranglers and tennis shoes. He’d have a Pepsi in his hand and a smile on his face. Keith was an amazing dancer. He loved his country music and was an avid bowler in past years. Keith was a collector of many things. His brothers and buddies were a huge part of his life. In his younger years, Keith, his buddies and his brothers would all run around Bolles Harbor enjoying a good beer. He had many friends and if he didn't know you, he'd make friends with you quickly. You truly couldn't help but love him.
