Vickie Lynn Roberts was born on Tuesday, October 23, 1951 in Monroe, Michigan. She was one of four children born from the union of the late Thomas Carr Sr. and the late Nova (Matthews) Weder. Vickie was a graduate of Monroe High School.

Vickie met the love of her life, Silas J Roberts when she was only nine and he was eleven years old. They developed a bond like no other. Together they married in Monroe on December 14, 1968. From this union came the birth of six beautiful children.

She enjoyed fishing, boating and the great outdoors. Vickie helped to support her family as the owner of Roberts Riverfront Fish Cleaning in Monroe. She served area fisherman for over nineteen years, teaching many how to properly filet a fish.

Vickie adored her family and cherished nothing more than spending time with them; especially her grandchildren.  She had a love for animals and all of God’s creatures.
