Devin Lowe

Obituary of Devin Shawn Lowe

Devin Shawn Lowe was born on June 18, 1972 in Monroe. He was the youngest of four children born from the union of David Lowe and Wanda (Scott) Lowe. Devin attended Monroe Public Schools. Devin enjoyed staying active and spending his time outdoors. He took his love for working out and used this to help others as a Personal Trainer for many years. Recently, he had also been employed as a chauffeur for Total Image Limousine of Toledo. Devin was best described with one word, LOVE. He had a wonderful being and was beautiful inside and out. A Christian, Devin, had received his spiritual nourishment while attending Monroe Missionary Baptist Church. As a child, he often brought stray animals home. As an adult, he was full of life, had a great sense of humor, and had the ability to leave an everlasting impression on everyone he met. His love for family and friends was evident in everything he did. Devin was a wonderful father often taking time to go go-kart riding or walk the beach with daughter: Alyssa and her pup: Lola. An amazing son; he took time to check in on mom several times each day. Devin was a brother to everyone he met and the favorite uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Devin, age 44, of Luna Pier, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Detroit. His passing was preceded by his father: David in 2012. To cherish his memory, Devin, leaves a beloved daughter: Alyssa Lowe of Lambertville; his mother: Wanda Lowe of Monroe; two sisters: Lorissa Dawn Farr of Saline and Lorenda Schrickel of Maumee; one brother: David Lowe; six nieces and nephews: Ryan, Brady, Liam, and Eliza Farr and Andrew and Kaelee Lowe; his feline companion: Ed; and grand puppy: Lola. Friends may gather from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185.
