Kenneth Lambrix

Obituary of Kenneth Leo Lambrix

Kenneth Leo Lambrix was born on August 17, 1948 in Trenton, Michigan. He is one of three children born from the union of the late Jacob and the late Mildred (Bruck) Lambrix. After high school, Kenny enlisted into the United States Army, where he served his country as a Paratrooper during the Vietnam war. He obtained the rank of SP4 and earned several accommodations. On August 4, 1973, Kenny married the former Denise Hoffman and from this union came the birth of four children. He began and was known to be a “farm-gaiser”, often enjoying an afternoon driving around and looking at his crops. He was a very hard worker and proud of being able to make a living and support his family. Through the years, Kenny raised livestock and began hauling steel. For over thirty-five years he ran as an owner-operator as well as contracting with various area companies. Kenny was a smart man. He was proud of his many accomplishments over the years. He had a stubborn side but deep down he was soft and caring. His way was and always will be the right way. He was a wonderful father to his four children and close to many of his friends whom he was always there for. Kenny enjoyed the company of others, taking drives and going up north in his youth. He enjoyed playing cards and visiting Kate’s Kitchen in Flat Rock for their delicious pies. Kenny liked to dance and share with others. He was quite the “jokester” and would tease you any chance he could. Kenneth Leo Lambix, age 68 of Carleton passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor.
