Although his was set in his ways, he was spunky with quite the sense of humor, never afraid to laugh at his own jokes. He was musically talented and enjoyed playing guitar and listening to his favorite 70’s rock classics. Blain appreciated the outdoors so much that he built his home in the woods and found solace whether it was fishing or hunting with his sons, tending to his plants and flowers in his garden, sitting on his back porch or relaxing by his backyard bonfire. In his quiet time, Blaine could be found watching his favorite cable television shows, Discovery Channel, Gold Rush and Alaskan Bush People.
