Obituary of Kenneth William Reinhardt

Kenneth William Reinhardt was born in Detroit on August 24, 1957. He was one of three children born from the union of the late John and Mary Reinhardt. Kenneth was a hard worker and supported his family employed as an assembler at Chrysler Corporation. He was a loving father who led by example and strived to teach his children to know the difference between right and wrong and to always stay on the right path. His artistic ability allowed Kenneth to express himself through drawing and coloring. As an avid fisherman, he looked forward to his many fishing endeavors and watching the boats on the water. Kenneth had a hearty appetite and “sweet tooth;” German chocolate cake was his favorite dessert. He was a wonderful grandfather and waited eagerly to spend time with his grandchildren. In his quiet time, Kenneth could be found watching NASCAR and Family Feud with his canine companion, “Bay-Bay.” Kenneth William Reinhardt, age 59, of Rockwood passed away at 2:48am at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. In addition to his grandparents, his passing was preceded by his parents. To cherish his memory, Kenneth leaves his children: Taunna (Mike) Reardon of Canton, Candise Reinhardt of Monroe and Kenneth (Samantha Harper) Reinhardt II of Belleville; one brother: John Reinhardt of Colorado Springs; one sister: Karen Reinhardt of Colorado Springs; an additional sister and best friend: Ellie (Randy) Harper of Rockwood, five grandchildren: Richard and Anthony Reardon, Zoey Renfro, Justice Reinhardt and Haidyn Reinhardt; and a nephew Dave (Sonja Holton) Reinhardt of Colorado Springs. Memorial donations are suggested to the family for funeral arrangements. Online guests may leave words of comfort and inspiration or share a photo at www.merklefs.com.
