Obituary of Cynthia Jayne Poff

Cynthia Jayne Ferguson was born on September 9, 1954 in Monroe. She was one of five children born from the union of the late Stanley Ferguson and Arlene (Krueger) Ferguson. Cynthia was a 1972 graduate of Monroe High School and received her License as a Practical Nurse in 1986 at the Toledo School of Practical Nursing. She married the love of her life, William Poff on July 8, 1998 in Toledo. Cynthia was employed at the Rainbow Clinic as a Licensed Practical Nurse retiring in March, 2016. She was funny and had a great sense of humor. Out of the goodness of her heart, Cynthia would do anything for anyone in need. Family was most important to her and spending time with her nieces and nephews gave her great pleasure. In earlier years, she looked forward to summer vacations at the Cabin on Houghton Lake, and spending time with friends playing pool and euchre. In her quiet time, Cynthia could be found reading her favorite novels. Cynthia Jayne Poff, age 62, of Monroe passed away at 5:00am on Saturday October 8, 2016 at Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
