Obituary of Nicholas Cusin

June 28, 1985 - April 18, 2016 Nicholas Antonio Cusin was born June 28, 1985 in Dearborn, Michigan. He was born of Anthony L. Cusin and Laura L. Ramirez. Nick graduated from Airport High School in the class of 2004 and attended Monroe County Community College. Soon after, Nicholas became employed by Minority Intermodal where he worked for over ten years as foreman, working his way up to become regional manager. Nicholas lived life to the fullest and loved to travel, especially to Mexico. His magnetic personality made him a very likable person by all. Being an uncle was something Nicholas cherished over anything else. He was an avid Detroit Lions fan and enjoyed watching his brother play hockey for the Ashton Rebels. Always into sports, Nicholas loved watching and playing football, golfing, basketball, and also played for many softball leagues over the years. Though he would never admit, he loved to dance and had a huge infectious smile that would light up any room. Nicholas Antonio Cusin, age 30, of Newport passed away at 5:28pm on April 18, 2016 at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton, Michigan. To cherish his memory, Nicholas leaves behind his Mother: Laura Ramirez of Lincoln Park; Father: Anthony Cusin of Allen Park; Sister: Alora (Michael) Szegda of Monroe; Brother: Ryan Cusin of Allen Park; Step Brother: Chris Guerra of Westland; his longtime girlfriend and fiancé: Kenndal Soto of Newport; Two Grandmothers: Rosann Butt of Lincoln Park and DiAnn(Joseph) Aslimi of Florida; Two nieces: Adyson and Adryana; And a nephew: Michael Jr. Friends may gather from 2:00p.m. Until 8:00p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street (734)384-5185. A Celebration of His life will take place on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. also at Merkle's with Pastor Jason Allmon officiating.
